Editing Event Details

Learn how to edit some of the basic event details, such as Event Name and Description, as well as change the name of the files and folders that are created when images are captured.

Editing the Event

To edit the Event you can either double click the event name or right click and select Edit event...


Event Details

You can edit the Name of the Event, add a Description (this appears alongside the Events in Breeze Booth), Gallery ID (for EventKite) and optional password protection.


Event Settings

To edit the Event Settings click on Edit event settings... Advanced users can click on Show Advanced Settings to access all Profiles and Default Profile settings.


File & Folder Names

In the General tab you can set the name of the files and folders Breeze creates when images are captured. By default, event file names are set to the time the images were captured, and the folder name set to the date the images were captured.

It might be more helpful to include the name of the event in the folder and file names. You can do this by simply appending the event name to the Filename and Folder fields.

Pro Tip: Instead of manually adding the event name for each event, use the token {eventName} to automatically pull in details from the Event Settings. Then use this event as a template you can clone for future events. Learn about Tokens.
