Saving Images & Videos
Images, GIFs and videos are automatically saved into the Files App on your device. Optionally, you can also save your images to Dropbox, Sync to a PC with Breeze Hub or upload to a Cloud Gallery such as Breeze EventKite.
In this Guide
- Finding your images in the Files App
- Saving to Dropbox
- Syncing to a PC with Breeze Hub
- Uploading to Breeze EventKite
Find your Images in the Files App
Open the Files App, then from the side menu, select On My iPad / iPhone then open the Breeze Booth folder. Your files will be saved in to the photos folder.
You can change the name of the folder images are saved into, and the name of the files, by editing the Folder and Filenames in the Event Editor
Saving to Dropbox
You can optionally save your images, GIFs and videos to Dropbox. Ensure that you have first setup Dropbox Syncing. Once this is complete, you can enable the option to Copy output to Dropbox in the App Settings in Breeze Booth
Images will save into your Dropbox folder, and can be found in Dropbox > Apps > Breeze Booth for iPad > Photos
Syncing to a PC with Breeze Hub
You can sync images to a PC running Breeze Hub. This is useful if you are running Breeze Kiosk for sharing images from an external tablet, or need the images available for other purposes (running a slideshow, further formatting with Hot Folder Prints etc). To sync files you need to set up Breeze Hub and enable the settings on your device(s).
Your device(s) and your PC must be on the same local network. This can be via Wifi or Ethernet
On your PC, ensure that you have installed Breeze Hub, which is installed as part of the Windows Companion Apps. Then enable the Sync Services from File > Preferences and check Enable Sync Services. Take note of the Download folder: path. This is where your images will save. By default this is set to save to Documents Folder > Breeze Booth for iPad but you can change this to wherever you like.
{documents}\Breeze Booth for iPad\downloads{iPadName}
On your device, go to the App Settings, and enable Connect to Breeze Hub and Copy all output to Breeze Hub. If successfully connected, you should also see the name and IP address of the PC you are connected to next to Hub:
If the connection between the device and Breeze Hub is interrupted, images will queue and resume syncing when the connection is restored. If you need to, you can press Clear queue to stop unsynced files from syncing.
Run a session in Breeze Booth. You should now see the download activity in the Breeze Hub log, and the files are now available in your Documents folder:
Uploading to EventKite
Images, GIFs and Videos can be automatically uploaded to EventKite. First ensure you have an active EventKite Account and then copy your integration URL from the EventKite settings.
In Breeze Booth, go to the App Settings, enable Upload output to cloud and paste the Integration URL, and the password if you set it in EventKite.
